Father’s Day Wine Special~

Juan Gil Red Blend 2019
The origins of Bodegas Juan Gil date from 1916 when Juan Gil Gimènez, great grandfather of the present generation, built a winery in the heart of Jumilla, Spain. The 2019 red blend is made from the Gil Family’s estate vines averaging 50 years old. The vineyards are dry-farmed, without pesticides or herbicides, and hand harvested. A blend of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Monastrell, 10% Syrah. Monastrell’s bold fruit is perfectly in balance with the earthy notes of Cabernet and Syrah, producing a blend that shows complexity and balance. Rich in flavor and texture with fresh acidity and finessed tannin structure. Each varietal is fermented in stainless steel and aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels separately before blending.
